Cash Flow Intelligence System

Banks face a delicate balancing act: maintain enough cash at each branch to serve customers without tying up excessive capital. This project solved that puzzle by creating a predictive cash flow analytics platform for a multi-branch banking network. The system ingested daily transaction data from dozens of branches, tracking every deposit, withdrawal, and transfer. Through carefully designed ETL processes, I transformed this raw data into meaningful patterns—identifying peak withdrawal times, seasonal trends, and location-specific behaviors. The interactive dashboards I built gave branch managers unprecedented visibility into their cash positions. They could forecast next week's needs based on historical patterns, compare their branch's performance against network averages, and receive automated alerts when cash levels approached critical thresholds. The result was dramatically improved cash availability for customers while reducing the operational costs of emergency cash transfers between branches.
